Who were the Olmec people?
The Olmec were a combination of the Aztec, Mayan, and Incan people. They were located in Mesoamerica and lived from about 1200 BCE to about 400 BCE.

The Aztec, the Inca, and the Maya were located in Mesoamerica. The Mayan civilization began around 2000 BC, and had a strong presence in Mesoamerica for about 3000 years. That is until they were conquered by the Spanish in 1519 AD.

The Aztec, the Mayan, and the Inca all had a very strong impact on Mesoamerica, That is until they all were conquered by the Spanish, causing their empires to fall. The main reason for their defeat was the fact that none of them had immunity to the disease that the Spanish unknowingly brought with them. The disease that caused the destruction of the empires was Smallpox, which have now fully gotten rid of.
