EQ: How did the Egyptian Civilization develop?
Somewhere between 6,000 BCE & 5,000 BCE hunters and gathers moved into the Nile River Valley. The early Egyptians settled down, farmed the land, and created many villages. Egypt is very warm and sunny but there is very little rain fall, this led the Egyptians to rely on the Nile River. The river provided fish and help to support the plants and animals. They also used the river to drink from it, used it for farming, bathed in it, and used it for cooking and cleaning. The Egyptians perceived the Nile River as a precious gift given to them by Hapi the river God.
Problem/Solution
The only problem in the Egyptian civilization was that it got little rainfall. The Egyptians had rely solely on the Nile River, which also floods like the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers.. The Nile River floods were more dependable and gentle than the floods of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. But since the have the Nile River that helped them to be able to farm and take care of plants and animals.
